Thanks to organized relief efforts locally and the support of many partner organizations, these communities are seeing the hope of Christ in a rough time. 12/11/2023 - UPDATE: 114 homes destroyed by tornado in Clarksville, another 857 damagedThe latest figures from Montgomery County Emergency Management Agency show that 114 homes were destroyed in Saturday’s tornado and another 857 were damaged. “These numbers represent displaced individuals whose lives have been turned upside down. Immediate Response team is deploying to Clarksville, Tennessee, and surrounding areas to help victims of the catastrophic tornado that left multiple fatalities and dozens injured. Once on location, volunteers and staff will begin working in the hardest-hit areas. Eight Days of Hope is deploying the Rapid Response Heavy and Mass Feeding teams to love and serve those in Clarksville, TN, who have been impacted by a 12-mile-long path of destruction left by the tornado.
