A major tornado outbreak from May 16–19 has caused widespread devastation across multiple states, with Missouri and Kentucky experiencing some of the most severe impacts. At least 31 lives have been lost.
Our team is in continuous communication with church leaders and national partners who are already on the ground assessing damage and coordinating relief efforts. This page will remain updated as needs and opportunities evolve.
ACTIVE RESPONSE: Most partner assessments are now complete, and multiple response efforts are in full motion. Tornado Impact Overview

Missouri (St. Louis)
An EF3 tornado struck the city, resulting in 5 fatalities and injuring 38 individuals.
Over 5,000 buildings sustained damage, with estimated losses exceeding $1 billion.
The tornado's path began in Clayton and moved through northern St. Louis, crossing into Illinois before dissipating near the SIU-Edwardsville campus. News sources -stlpr.org & weather.gov
Kentucky (Laurel County)
Laurel County was hit particularly hard, with at least 24 confirmed deaths, including 23 in London and 1 in Somerset. The tornado caused extensive damage to homes, businesses, and infrastructure, including the London-Corbin Airport, where hangars and aircraft were destroyed. A tornado emergency was declared for parts of Williamson and Saline counties, An estimated 35 to 40 homes were damaged, many of which were destroyed, on the path of a mile-wide tornado.
