Serve 6.8 - ONE DAY

Join us for our first Partner Church Roundtable, a day designed to equip and connect church leaders to strengthen crisis response and community outreach. Featuring Dennis Harris of Church of the Highlands and Derick Zwerneman of Serve Source, this event will explore how churches can collaborate through national disaster networks, develop effective crisis response ministries, and build relationships that position the local church to serve its city with lasting impact. The day includes a networking breakfast followed by an interactive roundtable discussion for church leadership teams focused on practical strategies, collaboration, and ministry innovation.

Senior Pastors and Key Decision Makers

7:30-9:30am - Networking breakfast with a presentation from Dennis Harris of Church of the Highlands in Birmingham, AL., and Derick Zwerneman from SERVE Source in Austin, Tx. Dennis and Derick will share their experience with creating the national church and disaster relief network ‘SERVE Source’, and will share answers to questions like: 

·     How does the national disaster network work?

·     What events and opportunities are we preparing for?

·     What roles do networks like SERVE 6.8 play?

·     What role does your church play?

Outreach Leaders and Executive Staff 

10:00am-5:00pm - Roundtable Presentation and Discussion with Church Leadership Teams (lunch included). Dennis and Derick will join SERVE 6.8 leaders to discuss: 

·     Practical tools to create crises response ministries

·     Developing outreach efforts that foster key relationships before crisis strikes

·     Strategies to serve your city that elevate the local church and honor Jesus

Note: We welcome Senior Pastors and key decision makers at the morning breakfast and would love to see outreach leaders and executive staff at the roundtable.
