Tornado & Flooding April 2025
Long Term Recovery
Status:
April 16, 2025
Disaster Reported:
Tennessee (TN), Kentucky (KY), Missouri (MO)
Affected area(s):
This past week, powerful storm systems unleashed severe weather—including tornadoes and flooding—across the central United States, impacting multiple states from Texas to the Midwest. The system resulted in significant destruction, loss of life, and displacement of residents. (Source: Reuters)
The Heartland has once again been targeted. While the tornado threat has subsided, flooding is now a major concern, particularly in Kentucky communities like Hopkinsville. Damage assessments are ongoing, and a strong response from national partners is already underway. All response activities will be listed through the map and information resources below.
