Tropical Storm SARA 🌀

Update 11/18/2024:

Tropical Storm Sara, which formed in the Caribbean this passed Thursday 11/14/2024, has caused severe flooding and landslides across Central America, affecting Honduras, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Belize, and Guatemala. The storm's slow movement has intensified the damage. Although it started with 45mph winds, Sara weakened to 40mph by Sunday and has dissipated into low pressure as it moves northwest toward the Yucatan Peninsula. Despite not reaching hurricane strength due to unfavorable winds and dry air, Sara still led to catastrophic impacts in the region.
